Collaboration.
We will be working alongside the regional directorate of the ministry of education of Tinghir to design and implement this project with a focus on self-sufficiency.
Impact/Renovation.
Abryd’s road map during the first phase of the project will be about:
Building a kindergarten inside the school
Extending and renovating staff accommodation
Arranging the sanitary areas for the children and staff
Renovating the garden and the playground
Providing all facilities with heating systems
Building a library and an educational space
All of the above will all be about creating a decent environment for the staff and pupils to focus on what matters: teaching and learning.
Education / Sustainability.
The school lacks of basic facilities that would promote learning. The plan is to:
Create an educational space with computers, books, board games, a film projector.
Create a leisure space for outdoor/physical activities (table tennis, basketball).
Develop a workshop program in topics like astronomy, agriculture, theatre, etc.
Run a teaching training programme for teachers and educators.
